Paul has worked in the education and ICT sectors for over ten years and joined RM in 1998 after teaching secondary music at a school in Suffolk. He has worked in technical consultancy, educational consultancy, business development and project management roles across the business.
From 2000-2003 he managed RM’s strategic partnerships with Local Authorities and educational institutions to support the delivery of the Learning Schools Programme NOF ICT Training initiative (a joint programme delivered by RM and the Open University), providing high quality face-to-face and online training to over 160,000 teachers across the UK. He has delivered a wide range of training and consultancy to Local Authorities and schools, and has significant experience of managing ICT and data projects within the education sector.
Since 2003, Paul has managed RM’s partnerships with central government departments to design and deliver a series of high profile national websites and data systems, including:
- Teacher Training Resource Bank, TDA
- Initial Teacher Training Professional Resource Networks, TDA
- RAISEonline, Ofsted and DfES
- Online Forms System, Ofsted
Paul currently manages RM Data Solutions’ long-term partnerships with its key customers, supporting the development teams and customers with his wide ranging commercial and education experience and knowledge of education data. Paul is also school governor at Blackminster Middle School in Worcestershire.
